Hey I have seen in various forums that OneDrive keeps a handle on certain files while syncing which will prevent a delete or move. Good luck! Caution: You won't be able to un-delete. Great Fix. This does seem to solve the immediate problem. Thank you. However, it seems extremely inefficient to delete files this way. Do you know if there is any patch coming soon to solve this problem?
